I wander over for my breakfast at the cafe and catch up on emails etc. After breakfast I walk to the train station to confirm the times for tomorrow. I buy a ticket for the early morning train. We crossed the border from Austria into Switzerland and soon arrived at St Moritz. Once again the scenery was amazing with snow capped mountains, people skiing along walking tracks, husky's at training school and a lake that was covered over. We stopped for a break and a ...

... to be a real barrier. As it happens, not many mechanics are equipped with English as a second language. There was not much alternative but to get to Locarno and re-group.
Spirits were raised by the easy discovery of our hotel, a modern, modest, but likeable place. The ever-so friendly receptionist was most welcoming and sympathetic, awarding us an "upgrade" to a suite on the top floor. ( She thought we were Irish. She likes Ireland. ) It certainly was not the Ritz, ...
