Womens’ and girls’ scarfs are IN! We even saw a young girl in short shorts with a scarf.

All the houses are in ruins--only the little chapel is still standing, with some flowers in the window, perhaps still visited by the former inhabitants of the village. What happened? Well, the road runs on the other side of the gorge. The only way across is by a suspension bridge. It still doesn't seem like ...

... home town, which leads to the question: how do people make a living in a village like this? Unfortunately my memories of this town are more of frustration. Believe it or not, I take, not one, not two, but THREE wrong turns in this tiny town!
