We were at the Skocjan Caves in time for the 10.00 am tour. It's a huge cave system. The first part of the walk was through a dry cavern - massive with impressively large stalactites and stalacmites. In parts it 100 metres high. The second part of the cave has water rushing through it although the water level is quite low at the moment. We made some sightseeing to Kostanjevica. The old monastry was fantastic. From 1135. It held several paintings from different artists Cirils daughter married in the nice church.
