... pro Palestine gathering and people were selling like scarves and shirts that said "Norway=Free Palestine". Didn't seem too rioty, and the police were there. There was also the Oslo jazz festival going on! I stopped by the train station to exchange my kroners for dollars. I made a mistake of pulling out way too much money from the ATM, so I had like $300 worth of Norwegian money left. You don't want this to happen because you lose a lot when you exchange money back. ...

... my thermals out. My hands were already cold with the gloves on but since I had to put clothes on etc without gloves, my fingers went completely numb with the ice cold wind. Finally, after 30 minutes we were able to get going.

... make a fashion accessory or home furnishing out of pretty much anything with feelings and a face. I also saw a shop full of jumpers. God I love jumpers, and these were nice jumpers. Looking at the prices, they must have been knitted by unicorns from magical silken threads. ... upon a beautiful patch of grass with chairs and tables-a "Gun Club" which was closed for the summer holidays!! Awesome!

This morning, after some very pleasant cycling hours along a myriad of different trails, we made it to Moss by lunchtime, where we took another ferry across to Horten-where we've booked into a campsite to do our laundry, charge our devices and generally clean up!

Up to the rain again. It must be my luck that I get to pack the car in the rain while others do the tidying up inside in the dry.

We made a stop at the local Ikea to buy some linen to cut our expenses down a bit. Most of the camp grounds provide a quilt and pillow but no linen. At Karlstad the cost was 125 SKR each for the night. ...
