Whistler is truly a winter wonderland now. The snow has well and truly arrived, the trees are all beautifully frosted, the pistes deep and smooth and our skiing getting better and better.

... it is important to qualify conditions. If you speak to a local, many will moan about the terrible conditions and how they will NOT go skiing until there is more snow. If you speak to a Canadian from eastern Canada they will say the conditions are good, especially compared to the frozen slopes of Mt Tremblant!

... WWOOOHOOOOO snow! I'm like a child every time it snows... Literally every time! Won't get old anytime soon. I am now employed which is wicked! 2 jobs in fact! I work as a Hostess at BG Urban Grill which basically is standing at a bench, greeting guests and getting them seated for the servers. There is a server position opening up soon so hopefully can move up and take that spot. Least I can get tips then!! My other job is at ...
... cold! It is amusing to watch people come off the mountain looking permanently shocked and very pink! Some of the people look like if you slapped them in the face the shock on frozen skin might kill them!
Today (07/12/13) and the last couple of days in the village it has dropped to -15 Celsius and up to (or down to) -40 Celsius on the mountain, taking into account wind chill! Everyone is looking forward to tomorrow as it is going to be MUCH ...
