... a bit early as it was very gloomy outside. The wettest weather we have had.
Had dinner then headed off to train station where we said farewell to Patrick, our coach driver. We get a different one in Jasper when we arrive on the train. The train left around 8.30pm. We found our sleeper carriage which is very small and consists of two chairs, a basin and toilet.

I spoke to a lady when we booked our horse riding in for the next day and she said after the 2nd bridge you go across the river then up a hill. From my research I'm waiting on a sign. We passed some native towns and cemeteries along the way. The drive along was spectacular. The lake is always stunning, the trees has their fall colours in full bloom and just driving along a nearly deserted road makes it so much better. But I did get ...
... again for me) so the girls could check it out. It was such a nice day! They also had done a lot of work on the path so it was no where near as ridiculous as when Jess and I went. The had covered all the tree roots and rocks we climbed over and it was shorter by about half an hour. The trail also came out at a different location on the lake than what it did when we walked it. Nonetheless it was amazing as always! So we stopped up there for some lunch then back down the hill ...
... them at the end of the 8km with all bags in tow. Once they dropped them on the floor and got chatting to us we offered them a beer and it was met with yelps of glee! Turns out we made their night, they gave us some mossie patches for as we head north they get worse, got some more tips on where and what to see and they were off. More lovely helpful Canadians! A hot tea, some photos of the full moon and it's wash up and pack up time for bed, intentions of making Lillooet ...
