... It's a nice size hall (600 seats) with pretty good sound. I've definitely performed in better halls in China, but I've also performed in far worse (Zhuji, for instance!). Anyway, 60,000 students attend Shandong University, and campus appears to be enormous. I uploaded a couple of pictures, but I decided not take a picture of the Karl Marx Center for Economics. Something about stopping and taking a picture of that just seemed to be asking for trouble!

... will be able to start teaching real classes. This might take anywhere from a month to a year before I can stop teaching public lessons. The public lessons follow basically the same pattern as the half day class. I ask the children their name and age and other simple questions and then then we sing some songs. ... a street market to walk through. I can't get over how expensive things are in China now! I found a shirt I liked, but it was $1,000.00 USD! One thousand US Dollars for a shirt! That's crazy. The thing is, I wasn't in some crazy name brand store. It was just a random store.
It's now 7:10pm, and I have yet to have any visitors. So, maybe I'm going to get through this night without a party! Knock on wood for me. I'll let you know tomorrow if it works out!!
