Sleep Inn and Suites of Tyler

I spent the last few days in Tyler, a little town in the east of Texas. I stayed with family that I didn't really know that I had and I seem to have tripled the number of relatives I have in a matter of hours. Whether you can actually have 3rd and 4th cousins is up for debate but it's always good to fatten the contact list on your phone to make yourself look more popular.Time was spent flitting around a little bit and I wound up in Dallas at one ...

Day Three already!
Sorry I'm late on this but it is actually day four and I'm catching up from yesterday when there wasn't a computer available at the hotel.
We woke up to NO rain this morning - yeah!! It was chilly though so I started out with arms warmers and a jacket on. Of course I didn't need both and we were riding at such a pace that I didn't want to stop to take off the jacket and I'm not very good at doing that ...

... some 500 varieties. Their Heritage roses date back to 1867. Of course this wasn't the best time of year for a visit, but there were enough blooms to make it worthwhile. And they have a beautiful pond with a gazebo.

After that, as Madame Lash (private joke) would say, I was knackered. So here I am at the LaQuinta Inn in Lindale, TX. hoping to get a good nights rest.

Tomorrow, onward to Pecos. More then.

We are all getting excited to go on our first family vacation out of state together. We can not wait to see the ocean and the white sanded beaches. We will make sure we blog plenty of pictures and let you know how our our day to day life goes while we are setting out on the beach playing in the sand while we are gone. See yall soon!!!

All in All it was an awesome experience and I couldn't be happier with the organization I have chosen to go help people in need. Thank you soooooooooo much for supporting me! I hope my posts and pictures will help you see into my heart and really show how much I love people.

By this time tomorrow, we will be on the road to DFW to depart to Heathrow!! Trying to keep our heads on straight and sort out any last minute packing details. We have checked and double checked (Vickie has triple checked :)) our lists. Getting more excited by the minute.
