    ... the street we needed to lead us to the Arch. But then that street was closed because of construction. From there we parked as close as we could and then pac manned our way up and down streets and sidewalks to get to the base of the monument.     Day one started off with an early morning departure of 7:30 am. I had stayed up late drinking nonalcoholic margaritas (curtesy of Micah Hahn) and saying some final goodbyes, so getting up was difficult, yet I was excited. We traveled with no problems listening to some tunes and some great podcasts all the way to St. Louis. Once in St. Louis we crossed the mighty Mississippi and headed straight for the Gateway Arch...then we missed a turn and ended up going back over ...

    Arrive in Broken Arrow before Cindy and her hubby, John, got home from work, so I gassed-up, washed the Jeep, and went in search of Wal-Martians at the local store.
