The temperature was cool as we drove from Kansas City, Missouri to Topeka, Kansas early on Saturday morning. We enjoyed our coffee and brief rain showers as we made the hour drive on the Kansas Turnpike, confident in the directions from Samantha, our GPS guide. We left Mount Vernon Illinois this morning and found the Old Route 66 Bridge going from Illinois to Missouri.  As you can see Bill wasn't sure which way to go he was between states.
