... is the midpoint of the entire Route 66 highway. We've passed this exit countless times on other trips and had no idea such a treat was just two minutes from the highway. There is a fun sign showing that Chicago and Los Angeles are each 1139 miles away. Also, the road, although not finished) has a line drawn at the midway point and has Route 66 signs painted on it.
