    Started my first big trip today! Today was DCA to CLT, CLT to Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman back to CLT. We're in Charlotte overnight tonight. Tomorrow is Charlotte to to San Jose, Puerto Rico and back to Charlotte. Monday is Charlotte to Tampa. I can't wait for that leg cause we have a long layover in Tampa and I need some time in the sun.     Jim, Leo and I are here in the mountains of North Carolina near Black Mountain. We are camping in Mama Gerties RV park at the top level. It is a new section of the park. It is beautiful up here. We had a campfire and I roasted marshmallows. Jim didn't eat any but Leo and I did. They were delicious.

    We caught the shuttle back to the airport at 11:45. This is the last day of this trip. My instructor told me that she could have passed me on the 1st day or the 2nd day but she didn't want to because if she would have, they would have taken me off the trip and probably put me on reserve.     ... songs are about snowbirds, also baby boomers and AARP. They are really funny and somewhat true. He has written songs for Ray Stevens and has even recorded a duet with him. He has received several awards for several of his CDs. He was the first American entertainer to perform for the troops oversees after 9/11.
