... declined. But even better than students, we were then offered cake! There was cake for the teachers that day, and the vice-principal brought some to us. I was so hungry and so excited that I forgot that I don't even really like cake! But it was so good, and helped ready us for a long, tough tear down. Nothing notable about it, really--but due to the spatial constraints, we had to employ some unorthodox tactics to get everything down. We weren't out of ...

Chesapeake City, Maryland, United States mainship... 8216;semi-displacement’ trawlers carry their weight slightly above the water at crusing speed. This is why they can go 10kts plus. But they roll much more in a seaway and are not really made for open ocean passages.
So First Forty is victum to unfavorable currents and the beneficiary of favor able currents. We manage this via a metric called Speed of the Ground or SOG. It’s a display on our plotter and is calculated based ...

We had drinks on Rafiki and rode in their dink to the Chart House for dinner and back to their boat for a nitecap. There were also 2 other B373s on the moorings MorgaNado we know and Eep Hour who's owners we do not know. 5/16/09 AYS Back Creek, Annapolis We are to leave Rafiki here ...
Annapolis, South Dakota, United States darborn... At least I have a general idea what was goes on in softball but it's the subtle nuances that you wouldn't know without growing up playing. So I was out there praying the ball wouldn't come my way as the sweat dripped off my brow making my steamed-up glasses slip down my nose. Fortunately the oppo - and the majority of my teammates - didn't realise that I was hopeless, blind and English and I got out of the first couple of innings without being humiliated. Then it ...
North East 21901, Maryland, United States dazzla... it turns out, Hannes walked out of the arrivals gate, not Kathy. And, surprised I was! I did a double take, looked at my mom (and hit her) saying, "Moooooom!" and ran over to Hannes! Needless to say, tears came to my eyes (tears of joy, of course). Not only was I surprised at the surprise, but also that my marm was able to keep the surprise (she tends to have trouble with this aspect of surprises ...
