Long day! Worked from home and cleaned up around the house so it was all organized for Randall. The headed to the airport was thru security in less than 30 mins. It was crazy fast. Then sat down to continue working and then to do some people watching.... That was fun! You see all sorts of things at the airport. Shaloma was so tired ... 2 hours of sleep. Not sure how she does it. We ended up sitting by each other on the plane as we each had a empty seat and a couple boarded and there ...
Our main reason for being in Houston was to visit the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We arrived at 10am and got a spot right by the entrance, because there were not many people there. We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. Yes I ate Subway twice that day! We arrived at their place at about 2:00am. We were all exhausted! I, of course, could not sleep though. I was afraid ...
We left Kerrville, Tx this morning. Kerrville is a town I could live in. Just the right size, clean, friendly people and easy to navigate. We drove on to Houston to visit Gordy's cousin, Delores and her husband, Gus. It had been years since we had seen them, and they have added a daughter since we last saw them. We just were ...
