Not long into his presidency, the financial collapse of the country's financial markets caused our country to spiral into the Great Depression of the 20th century. Our destination is Amana Colonies in Amana, IA. This is an historic German town that we stopped briefly on our trip to Alaska in 2012. The town closes up at 5:00 pm so we decided to come back and stay a few nights to check it out. More tomorrow on our venture into town.

I have included a short video of what we see as we head down the road. Enjoy.
