... own rabbitry and knows a lot about them.
They disliked the car ride and I disliked saying goodbye.
Due to construction, we drove around Kansas City for 2 hours.
Celebrated Nick's birthday by going out for drinks at a chill bar.

... crushes the fear! I encourage any of my friends to join me on any part of the trip, but I have always been independent and will have to trust my instincts. The only downside is I have to skip certain countries I would love to see, simply b/c traveling as a single female is too dangerous. I hope this blog will help you in planning future trips and I can't wait to start blogging on the road! Stay posted for schedule updates.
Omaha, Nebraska, United States ashleyduling... from letters and journals of the women who crossed America during the greatest migration of modern times. Three quarters of a million americans crossed the USA between 1840 and 1870 and what a trip it was. What I really enjoyed was this book only concentrated on the women and how they handled it. What were they thinking!!! My goodness this was no RV journey and as I climb into my home at the end of the day I give a thought to the mud and dust and hardship of the people.
Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States brentandjo... lucky pigs (50 cents), a really cool poster of barns from different areas of the state of Iowa, and a book entitled, “Is Iowa in Idaho?” – especially appropriate for me since I lived in Rexburg and was raised in Iowa. The only reason I did not buy it was the price: $12.95 for about 70 pages! I missed my chance and, of course, now I want it. I once saw a t-shirt that said: “See Iowa at its best, Drive at night.” Those purchasing items had quite a ...

This concert was likely the best so far on this tour. The audience seemed to be generally a more mature audience, and responded with enthusiasm throughout the evening. Afterwards, Victoria Stamm and Alesha Alvis, twin sisters and college English professors from Woodvine, Iowa, said, “This was a dream come true! It was beyond beautiful. Words don’t exist in the English language to describe how incredible ...
... zone so we had to go back through security. Of course this was after our bags were checked and Jim found out that the bottles he was carrying from the duty free store in Lima could no longer go as carry on. He finally ended up giving it away, but was able to save a unique bottle once it was empty. Fortunately, we had plenty of time between flights to get all that sorted out. We even had time to get a bite to eat. Then it was on to ...

Brian took us to the airport where we met the Kings. After checking in we all had lunch together...Jim, Carol, Chad, Todd, Joyce, Brian, and me. After lunch the boys took off and we headed to security. Our plane was a little late leaving, but nothing major.
We are to leave tomorrow and it is snowing in Omaha. The forecast
started at 1-2 inches. Now it is up to 5-8, tapering off at noon. Our
flight is scheduled to leave at 3:15 so we may be okay if the morning
flights don't back up and if the flight comes in from Dallas so it can
return to Dallas. This is shaping up to be like the time we went to
Sedona and the morning flights canceled. The other bad part is we have
a tight connection in Miami.
... food is in America but eating brocolli after so many weeks of **** was just great! :) We drove onto Council Bluffs, or rather I drove again while Lee slept. We decided on staying at the Days Inn opposite Hurrah's Casino so that it was a short walk to the entertainment, apart from the fact it was 105f outside so the short walk was hard work, it was even more hard work when we got there only to find out that we needed passports and not driving licences to get in. Jim ...
