... at 6:25am and reached Rotterdam early afternoon. I'm pretty sure I had a bit of a thing going on with the Czech girl working on the bus but as usual there wasn't a lot I could do about it. Another full day today exploring the city of Rotterdam. Rather than drive into the city, we parked near home in Hendrik Ido Ambacht and boarded a waterbus. The waterbus isn't perhaps as true to its name as todays evening activity, but more on that later. Rather, its a ferry, and a different hassle free method of transport into Rotterdam. ... Daniella was happy to see some of the artists work that she had studied at school like Dali, Monet, Cezanne, Degas,Magritte and others. I recognized Bosch, Breugel, Rembrandt and a few others from my school days. The museum also housed modern art as well as sculptures, furniture and lots more. The small snow flakes that fell this morning are gone but in their place an icy chill hangs in the air. Let's hope Antwerpen will be a bit warmer.....
