... pleased when he came over the PA to welcome us to Rotterdam. At lunch I ran into our new friends Chuck, and Michele from Oklahoma. They invited us to meet them for the shore excursion, so we could ride in the same bus together. Since she needs a mobile scooter to get around we got to go down with them to get on the bus early. There was a very light snowfall when we left Amsterdam and again when we arrived in Rotterdam. The locals are all going crazy as they have had enough of this winter one of the worst and seems not to want to end. We however don't really mind except when the icy wind hits you.
I must say that the Dutch are a really friendly and helpful bunch always asking if they can help when we look perplexed/lost or whatever offering any info that might help us. ...
