- Make copies of my bank and other important cards.
- Buy a tent and sleeping bag (both as light-weighted and small as possible)

- Say goodbye

... dumped a lot of toiletries and snacks, and shoved all my clothes into snack pack (who is now snackless). And I left baby blue behind a garbage can, filled with tampons and two pairs of shoes. Now it's just me and snackless pack against the world. RIP baby blue. But on to bigger and better things! Right? ... just look at me and say, "EVEN RUSSIA? how about Germany!? She then ran and told her mom in disbelief who was making us a chicken dinner... I think she said it was the chickens from her farm (see Kim, I guess moms dogs aren't the only ones that eat their pets). We ate in their dining area which I thought was outside, but really the glass walls just slide into each other so you can make it either or. Then the girls cleared and did all of the dishes, and showed me where everything ...

Step 1. Cases packed, on my way to Schiphol. Picked up my nephew Paul and pilot pall Pieter from Schiphol to have farewell diner in Ibis. :-)
Pieter will take 2 books on board to JNB. Makes my suitcase 6 kg's lighter.
Tomorrow at 08:30 I will get my last injections for this journey. 10:05 hrs LT AMS-KGL. Kigali. Here I come.

... were four floors of just his pieces. We also tried to go to the Anne Frank museum but it was closed because of Yom Kippur. The rest of the day we just walked around the city and took in the culture (which is so different from ours).  The weekend went by extremely fast but I had a ton of fun.
