    What a miserable place!
    It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
    This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

    Our hosts, Tom and Pat, are amazing folk and hosts. They like to sleep outside, and the climate is perfect for it, so their bed is outside on a deck overlooking the lake.     One day last week when it was warm out I took a walk down to the water and took some pictures which are shown in the video I posted. Back in mid October, I had the pleasure of going into the Roanoke Rapids, and I posted a few of those pictures as well.
