The Zoo
... see one. We got to walk with kangaroos. No fence, just walk right in the same cage with the kangaroos. They are really more like deer than you would think.
This is one spectacular zoo! It had everything from goats to crocodiles to lions & bears. The spectrum of animals they keep here is remarkable.
Ok. we are really going home this time. Back to work tomorrow. Great week with the fam!

Gas is cheap in North Carolina!
This is one of those stories that I hesitate to tell in fear of how stupid I end up looking. I KNEW I should get gas before I drove to the airport in Charlotte last week, but nooooooooo, I was being lazy. So we had to stop at a gas station after midnight upon our return. No problem!
