Sorry we haven't blogged for a while, we're being hampered by Internet challenges.

We arrived in North Carolina (Sunset Beach) on Saturday and have settled into our home for the week. It's a condo (a flat to the English) on a golf course about five minutes from the beach. It's very comfortable and spacious and it's especially nice to be able to wash some clothes after nine days on the road.

Currently we are pit stopped in a Motel 6 in Charleston, SC and since we are so close to Savannah now, our next destination, we can spend a few hours in Charleston checking out this coastal city as well. ... are completely shot. Try to hail a cab, not happening. The heck with it, let's take the cart and try not to get pulled over.
Driving in the shadows on back roads and quickly pulling into people's front yards every time a car came by.
We get about 3/4 of the way home and the battery dies! Really? All set to carry 2 sleeping kids the rest of the way home when Craig drives up. Seems he found the car eventually.....
