      ... red and yellow. But no, the color caught my eye first. The perfect shade of pink; not too light and not “stop you in your tracks” neon, but just right. The laundry situation is starting to look a little questionable; shirts are being sprayed with Febreeze and laid out to freshen and would it hurt to have an extra shirt?       ... bridge tender called us on 09 VHF and said that traffic was light and he'd be happy to let us pass! Of course, we were thrilled to accept his considerate offer. For any bridge -- and especially this one, with a nasty reputation for its sometimes surly operators -- such considerations are rare. Thank you, kind sir! (Tip of the hat)
