Finally after months of planning and dreaming, it was THE day to leave. I had an intense day at work but finally was able to leave at 1:30pm. Ot was time for our Girl's Getaway to get started! We left Windsor at 2:30pm and got to Detroit airport by 3:30pm. Started off with smoothies from McDonald's while we struggled with wifi and data on our phones so we could stay in touch. ... good driver, I am a really bad passenger. I get anxious riding in the RV in bad weather, up or down steep hills or narrow winding roads, pretty much any road that's not a four lane highway.
But we made it through the storm and finally arrived in Petersburg, Michigan and pulled into the park and settled into another week of exploration.
