    ... Toledo. The first thing we passed was an elaborate art museum with lots of outside statues and modern art exibits. We saw historic St. Patrick's Cathedral which is on the National Historic Register. It was built in 1892 and very beautiful. The cross on top of the steeple is 9'x14' wrapped in copper and painted with an outer layer of gold leaf! It seemed to us that it was in the wrong side of town because of its surroundings but it is in operation and seems to be thriving. ...

    ... around, field after field of corn, looking for a farm stand to get a few ears of fresh sweet corn. Finally, after some effort, we found one. Fresh local corn, yum. Well, not so much. This corn came from Georgia. Oh well, it was still good.

    Well ... Had to exchange Rental car tried to do so in Petoskey, but had to go to Pellston airport. Bit chilly! had late lunch at the airport restaurant. Exchanged Jeep for ****** Camry that was not even cleaned -- last time for Hertz! Randy and Rose ...
