Lift Master Pole
So after the quiet of the mountains, we headed back to Charlotte, getting up at 5am to drive the 130 miles to Rouch Fenway in the hope Caroline would be one of the Lucy ones to meet her driver. Tak'in a Walk
Today we revisited the Speedway for the Coke 600 Track Walk. This is a special event for ticket holders for the Coke 600 - to walk the 1.5 Mile Track, see some of the drivers and attend one of the Biggest Outdoor Bar-B-Q's.
Really enjoyable experience as we wandered around the infield and paddock, and the winners circle.

Well we finally got back to the room just before Midnight last night (this morning) from a packed day at the Circuit watching the Coke 600. We are travelling on to the Coast today - being that its a Bank Holiday here things will be fairly quiet. A few pictures from yesterday.

I started driving early morning at around 6 AM today because I had a 12 hour long drive ahead of me to reach Charlotte, NC to meet Vivek. He's a friend that I have known from Seattle and he now lives in Charlotte with his wife, Laxmi.
