    So now its basically official that I'm heading to Germany. I'll be leaving on September 1st to begin a new chapter in my life. I'm super excited to start this journey (and of course nervous) and can't wait to face new challenges, have new experiences, and meet new people.

    We said our hellos upon arrival and I got the place set up. We hadn't seen either Alan or Maggie for a few years so it was a nice reunion. Spontaneously, Cheryl had bought a roasted chicken along with watermelon and chips so we were able to have lunch under the trees.
