This undertaking is not simply a getaway; it's a total relocation. No just grabbing your toothbrush and jammies in an overnight bag! Not only did we need to empty one large refrigerator/freezer and fill another tiny one, we needed to furnish a small kitchen, bath, and 2 bedrooms. First item on the agenda: the Nespresso machine! So, like clockwork Kim went and got the rental car, texted me he was on his way back. Myself and bags ( no nasty comments please) waiting at the curb. ... because of how great it felt to be doing this by myself, and how much I enjoyed my own company and that of nature. Of course I wasn't really all alone....I always love blogging and connecting with folks in that way when I travel, so thanks to everyone who followed me, even if it was just here and there! If you ever get a chance to take off and wander by yourself for an extended period of time (or even a short period of time), I highly recommend it!
... Seaport is a great place to tour for 3+ hours. Lots of history as they have recreated an 1827 working seaport complete with stores, houses and shipbuilding galore! Lots of boats to see as well. This is very well done and we really enjoyed it!
