After a full day of driving we said good-bye to Jack and Jan, then went for a walk, stopping by Whole Foods to pick up a couple of food items to eat for dinner back in the room. We marveled over the perfect weather--68, sunny with a few clouds and a light breeze. We were really fortunate.

... appetizer, then I had lobster ravioli in fish broth with a steamed lobster on the side (you get an extra for only $10--this obviously isn't the Midwest!) Chris had fall harvest soup, char-grilled char, and flourless chocolate cake. I had a Tattinger champagne and Chris had a Rombauer zin that Paul selected. We all had a great time, although Jack was quiet, but then, he's never a big talker anyway. The evening was really lovely.

Went to a motel with the intention of getting this beautiful married women that I work with there so that we could both use each other. Day 157 - Familiar Names, Different Places

Day 48 & 49: Loving Long Island

... wanted to introduce their King Spaniel to the kids under the guise of husband wanting to exchange dialogue about Elle MacPherson with Matt, and another couple who wanted to tell us about the best beach on the island, despite him not having been on a beach since the movie Jaws came out.
