Our friends coordinated a Police escorted ride down Main Street last night in Middletown Ct. to MONDO, where there was a fundraiser for The ONE Ride. The Police Officers were great and all over our 14,000 Miles of Giving campaign. It rained all day until we were ready for our dramatic entrance and the skies cleared for me, Purple Haze and a new riding friend, Marilyn on her bike, with our Police escorted, traffic stopping 6 block ride down Main Street. ...

So I decided to just sit down and reflect on why this trip means more ...

We had a slow morning followed by a bike ride with daddy and some much needed playground time. The kids really enjoyed running around after spending 11 hours in the car yesterday.

Today was a big day for Lincoln. At 7 months he stood for the first time
on his own. He has been getting close to pulling himself up but finally
was able to do it this afternoon. We are in trouble!

Some of the original furniture is still on display. They built things to last in those days.

Another section of the building contained a museum and what I would call a trophy room. Strange things you would not expect to find in a public government building. There was even a two headed cow.

I have to say one thing I have learned on this trip, and I know all of the hunters would have known this but I certainly ...
