... had items within it that would have been sold to it's customers. I bought a box of the game of "jacks"! Remember playing jacks? The last building we went to was a collection of farming equipment. There were tractors and all sorts of farm equipment. Ha, Greg toured it, while I talked to the nice docents that were seated by the front door. ... of Labor Temple was an interesting building. It was bingo night but we didn't go in. Antique malls were on every corner and the newly renovated Grand theater was cool. Finally, we ended up at Nathan Detroit's pub and enjoyed a cold glass of Buffalo Sweat. Don't worry, it was actually a tasty dark beer. ... Missouri to see in one day! Listening to an exciting day of World Cup matches made it easier, though. Argentina's star, Messi, came through in extra time with a goal to beat Iran 1-0. The Scottish announcer screamed: "The Magician waved his wand and broke the hearts of the Iranians!" The second match was just as good listening to Ghana fight the mighty Germans to a 2-2 draw. Today was a good day. I set my sights on Grand Island and I made it with ease. We left Gothenburg and when we got to Cozad there were 10 miles of closed freeway and the was no way to ride around it so we had to drive 30 miles around it to get to the other side. Then I got back on my bike and rode towards Lexington. The ride as usual was uneventful besides a train passing me every 15 minutes. After Lexington came Overton and Elm Creek. Alll the ...

... the horizon the last of the birds were gliding into their nighttime home. We made our way back to the car and on to the hotel for the night. Right as we checked in the receptionist lady was putting out freshly baked cookies. There was also popcorn available. Basically I was in heaven. Instead of going out to dinner I took some popcorn up to the room and had a shower.
