    We did make it to the concert at Red Rocks (venue awe inspiring), to see the band ‘Alabama’ (who were outstanding). The highlight for me however was answering the pleasant fellow who was making conversation as we waited to enter. “Have you come far?” he asked. “Well,” said I, “funny you should ask….”

    We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Since Icelandic Airlines was a no-frills carrier, we had our Chipotle burritos for our evening meal, though I think Maurine ate hers on the taxiway and was eying mine after that!
