We arrived in Chattanooga crossed over to Georgia and gave up on the 127 yard sale. It was fun while it lasted but we are hot any tired and ready for a shower. Friday, 7 August: Just an on the road day started this morning. Nothing exciting, just the drive back north via the West Coast of Florida. Passed through the Everglades National Park and an Indian reservation on the way to our overnight stop at Saratosa. What a gorgeous day; sunny and warm, not a day to be inside.
This morning we visited Rock City at Lookout Mountain, which is actually in Georgia. These massive, ancient rock formations and gardens are truly amazing, and the views are breathtaking. The Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village were enchanting, the nursery rhymes depicted reminding us of our childhood.
