It has been arranged that we will take "afternoon tea" at Fortnum and Masons on Piccadilly. This has been on B and G's list of things to do for a while and today's the day. It's actually more like lunch as the booking is for 1pm. We drove to Westfield at Stratford then took the tube from there. It was a miserable wet day but fortunately not far from the tube station at Green Park. Fortnum and Mason is ...

Today I visited the beautiful Locale of Windsor. The castle is enormous, from the photos it is hard to see its scale. The township itself is very pretty . WE whipped up a couple of omelettes and had a decent feed before heading to the first stop, Loftus stadium. This is the home of the queens park ...

S went to sleep afterwards and D went for a walk. Later on went to the Bluff lookout with view across the bay and looking down on the container port, large and expanding. On the way down, stopped at a little garden made from a quarry cut out by prisoners from the old prison up the road. Skyped Patrick and had an early ...

What the hell do I pack?

So i'm faced with a question i've never paid much thought about, ever. What the hell do you pack when you're living on a boat for 4 months?

Ok so it's not so bad, they do have a launderette on board so it's not as if i'll have to take a bag the size of my actual bedroom to accommodate a wardrobe. But what the hell do i take? I'm a man of simple pleasures, my usual getup usually includes a t-shirt & pair of jeans, i practically live in them! ...
