    I think this sums up what I've been feeling more and more the last few days... up until last week, I had been excited about my upcoming travels, but it seemed to ramp up exponentially right before the weekend, to the point where it's been pretty difficult to think or concentrate on anything else.

    ... it was just our tired, tired brains but writing this conversation 72 hours later I see that it was WEIRD. Needless to say, we slept there the night, left in the morning and didn't go back.

    Now...on to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! We should really have Elijah write this entry, but I'll get the adult thinking out of the way first...can you say commercialism? How about capitalism? Materialism? Any more isms out there? What is Universal REALLY? Lots of people, lots ...

    ... point to locate our old haunt "Frenchy's" where we got a table and indulged in three different seafood lunches. Marty had a lemon basil shrimp salad, I had a Mahi Mahi sandwich and Richard had crab cakes. Fortunately we spoke to the waitress about getting some seafood from their Seafood Company and she pointed out that they closed at noon. Richard hustled over and managed to get us some Red Grouper and Stone Crab Claws when the remaining staff took pity on him.

    ... hills. And with the Alaskan Pipeline, why is gas so expensive??

    Most embarrassing moment on the trip: When Carol fell off the stool in Pikes Place Market. The little women that helped her up was surprisingly sturdy (“I thought it was a big man!” – Carol).

    Small world experience: Our dentist, Dr. Moody and his wife was on the same cruise!
