    We all gathered in the parking lot ready for our day of driving. The whole drive was boring and uneventful. The scenery was the same the whole time, big paddocks and a few trees here and there. After we arrived at the campgrounds we quickly set up our tents but the humidity was a killer so we decided a swim was in order ASAP.     ... on history, Islam, Christianity, and politics. We didn’t have time to read his book, but I hope someday we do.

    As the evening wore on, I developed a migraine, and Aunt Marie gave me an ice pack for my eyes, and I took some melatonin, and went to sleep early-ish. We had an early start the next morning to get to church in Fort Lauderdale on time. We said our good-byes, and hit the road.

    ... Anita found a Peruvian restaurant near our hotel that got excellent reviews. Turned out to be great. We had an incredible beef dish with rice and sauteed veggies and Drew and Anna split a seafood platter with shrimp and fish prepared with authentic Peruvian seasonings. Got back to the hotel and turned in about 10pm to get some rest for our bike and airboat ride tomorrow. ...

    ... the delegat-er, if you will. So, of course, I asked my mother to join - who is as close to an expert at camping/camping with toddlers as they come (and a great improviser/aka very resourceful when necessary).

    The first place on our list is the Gold Head Branch State Park in Keystone Heights, FL. Why, you ask? No reason really, a friend suggested and so we did. How do you like that for research/planning? We go where the wind takes us.
