    Hey all! I'm glad that you have decided to follow my blog. I will try to update this as much as I can throughout my trip in New Zealand. Tomorrow, February 3, is our travel day; Kyle and I fly out of Chicago at noon. We will land in Auckland at 6 am on Wednesday, February 5 (11 am Tuesday-Wisconsin Time). I will update you when we land in Auckland to let you know that we have arrived safely! Take care mates!

    ... to share his 27th birthday together. We had just enough energy to enjoy lunch with him before heading to our final destination... bed! There's nothing like your own bed after a long journey. We had a restful slumber, but it took a couple days to get re-adjusted to the time difference, waking at 3:30 am. But, all is good. Till next time...

    Motorcycle: 9 miles The S.S. Badger departs at 2:00pm so we have a little time to relax this morning. An antique shop is next to the motel so we peruse inside.     Woke up early and showered, ate, and packed and was at the ferry dock at 8 am. I did not know I had to provide my own tie downs, but they were nice enough to sell me some. The ride is 60 miles across Lake Michigan that takes about 4 hours. It was VERY foggy. I am always amazed that people used to make these trips with very ...
