      ... up on a hill with no drainage issues. Safe, bright and cheery. We unhooked Mr. Toad just as the skies opened up again with a thunderstorm of rain. We set up the satellite to record the Giants game and headed out to a local pizza place to get an easy warm meal. Then settled in to watch the baseball game till wee hours of the morning again as the constant rain beat down on roof, thankful we made the right decision.

      ... We contributed a stone or two to a couple of existing Cairn and Casey marked a spot and erected a special Cairn in honor of Sondra.

      We celebrated our amazing hike with our first full meal prepared in our new home away from home: Strip steak from Wegmans, sautéed onions and mushrooms, fresh local sweet corn and tomatoes. What could be better?

      Today was an average day. We had a late load in based on the long drive between venues, but it went relatively smoothly. The biggest difference between this and the last few venues is that this Amphitheater was a large circus tent type structure.
