Stayed 3 nights - leaving 1-26-15 for San Antonio. Nice quiet campground. In the high 60's. Guadalupe river runs along campground. $26 per nite. Previously stayed at Navarro mills CG (oak park site 9). Rainy and cold. Saw white Pelicans on lake. Very nice CG there but hookups were were too far from camper. Couldn't use sewer connection as hose wasn't long enough. Bought longer hoses at Walmart in case that happened ...

The whole fuel stop was planned for 1 hour but we set off again after on 45 minutes due to the extreme heat. Most of the riders were taking heat shelter in Walmart and they all had to run to the bikes which resembled a 1960's 24-hour Le Mans start.

Only 31 miles to Killeen Civic Centre where we ...
