I got in a lot later than I expected--almost 7:30pm. Luckily there was a Perkins like right next to the hotel so I ran over to get a salad. Meh. I had hoped that I could catch Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel but no luck there. I fell asleep a little after 9.

... are all often told how polite our children are with their please's and thank you's. One of the phrases I remember hearing the most from our dad was "thank you kindly". It was as if the thank you was not enough...he needed to emphasize his appreciation (for whatever) with just a bit more.
