    As I write, I'm just twitching in anticipation. I cannot wait for tomorrow when we take off from the airport! For now, I'll settle for the fact we're leaving in a couple hours to check in to our hotel in Omaha. Make-a-Wish has arranged for us to stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Omaha for the night before our departure.     ... are all often told how polite our children are with their please's and thank you's. One of the phrases I remember hearing the most from our dad was "thank you kindly". It was as if the thank you was not enough...he needed to emphasize his appreciation (for whatever) with just a bit more.

    So, Dad, the drive has been long but worth it. Thanks for everything. Thank you kindly.
