    ... and with pride. Nice to see!!! Then came the race. It wasn't too exciting, but it had a surprise ending with Carl Edwards winning because he didn't have to make a pit stop for fuel, Biffle - second and Earnhardt - third. Next came the walk back to camp---talk about a crowd!!!
    So ends our -TEN DAYS OF THUNDER with a few extra days thrown in the mix. Great time, a once in a lifetime for us! Loved sharing it with Kitty and Bobby-hard for us to hang with ...

    ... flame retardant aprons. During our exploring time in the pits we saw Chad Knaus, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, and Mike Helton. It was very warm down there. They let the fans have a great deal of access and didn't seem to mind all of us gawking at them doing their job.     During the day we checked out some vendors. Then we found a spot so Bobby could fly his drone. He did a great job for being a novice drone pilot. The only blooper was forgetting to take off the lens cap so we have no drone video.
