    ... to have it repaired? Fortunately, the mechanics were
    able to track the parts down in town and repair it all within a couple hours.
    The total cost was more than I want to mention, mostly for parts and towing
    since the labor charge in this small Midwestern town was very reasonable for
    the work of auto mechanics, and I was on my way again. With this unexpected
    turn of events it was well after 10:00 at night when I rolled into Louisville.

    ... plumbing fix and found next to nothing to do, along with nobody walking anyway around the downtown. Why does this always happen? Do people know we're coming and hide away in their houses until we're gone?

    We finally gave up any pretense of entertaining/talking to people and simply dropped off the flyers we had made at a few businesses and the library and called it. Sometimes that's all you can do.
