... humid) and we were on the way to Destin which was halfway between Clearwater and New Orleans. It was a 6 hour drive so I wasn't particularly looking forward to it... Clearwater was a great stop, it was fun having the dog and good company in the apartment and the beach was ok. It probably was a bit too touristy for me. The Alps, surreal nature, and beautiful, small cities defined my travels in this small country. There weren't many tourists either! ...

Checked out of the hotel and headed to the ship a little before Noon. It was only about 5 min by cab, to the pier. The line to drop your luggage was extremely long, and took us almost 20 min. Then upstairs for a much shorter security line, and no line for Suite Guest check in.
The best benefit of being in a suite was that the room ...

My sisters Peggy, Joan, and Linda and I are taking the cruise ship Norwegain Dawn out of Tampa, FL. We were up early to drive to Tampa and arrived with plenty of time left to board the ship. Peggy and Linda took the car to a parking lot, and Joan and I waited at the dock and ensured our luggage was taken on board. It is amazing how quickly the people at the dock can move people through. The embarkation ...
