... Hogsmead, butter beer ice cream. Kids running round shouting 'expecto patronum!' and 'expelliarmus!' in full Hogwarts attire. We escaped from Gingotts, dueled with dragons, caught the hogwarts express, rode with hippogriffs and journeyed throughout Hogwarts. If you're a harry potter fan and near Orlando - its a must.
Day 4 - more Harry Potter, more Universal Studios. We did rides such as Spider-man, the Hulk, the mummy returns, most of which were 4D rides.
We caught an Uber taxi to Universal Studios early this morning and spent the whole day there going on as many rides as possible. The most trilling was the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Wow what a roller coaster! I wanted to go on it again but when we went back ...
... then and we'd had enough so caught the I Trolley up International Drive to the factory outlet at the northern end of I Drive. We had a spot of lunch there. I had not been feeling 100% all day so decided to go back to the hotel for a rest so Jane could wander round the shops.
I'm glad to say that I'm starting to feel a bit better for we have another big day tomorrow as we're off to Cape Canaveal and staying overnight in Fort Pierce.
... Educational rides of Living on the land, Circle of Life, then a 'classic' 3D movie 'Captain EO' with Michael Jackson & a bunch of 80's goodness. More retro fun at 'Spaceship Earth', a bit of history, animatronics & look into the 'future' (think Jetsons) After lunch we used our other fast passes at Mission Space & Test track - our 'test car' got to about 65mph. ...
... and here it was right infront of us. I can't really describe the feeling of being this close to something like this, every time I went to look at something else I would find myself gazing at it. From some angles it was beautiful, some it was a bit cartoony and some it was a case of "seriously how the hell did that make it into space once let alone 33 times..... and back again" When we could drag ourselves away from the shuttle, there were heaps of other things to do ...
