      ... wear shop with everyone coming out in wizard gowns. All the shops etc looked just like in the film. We got lost around this bizarre place for quite some time. The 3D ride here was very clever too. Here we picked up a salted caramel ice cream tub to share. We wandered over the bridge to Simpson land and took the ride there.       Even though we were in America for the next month, the American Adventure still offered the best meal at a decent price: steak, fries and veg for about $8 from the Liberty Inn. Nice one!       ... to be in good nick, so we took it and headed for the hotel. I don't know how Laura managed to get us there safely, driving a brand new car on the wrong side of the road, at night (plus it's the first time she's driven an automatic), with that level of exhaustion, but she did it because she's amazing! We finally made it to the hotel, had quick showers and collapsed into bed at 10.30pm - a full four hours after we'd landed! Hopefully the rest of the trip is less hassle! ;) Deej ...

      I think it was Mohammed who said "a journey of a thousand miles starts with but a single step". For this journey I would say that it started with, bad temper, confusion, lost phones and David Soul in a wheelchair.

      David Soul (Hutch of Starsky and Hutch) was wheeled into the "passenger assistance" compound in Gatwick South Terminal whilst we waited for Min to get a cripple wagon to the plane. Other than the fact he was in a wheel chair he looked ok, cheerful ...
