    ... 5:55. The Rehovsky's RV was here too. Everything is fine and we are glad to have made a safe trip. The weather "feels" better here than San Diego.
    Thanks for the encouragement to do a blog. We really do it for our own memories. Susan is happy to have her list complete. For those suggesting she start another CEASE AND DESIST!!!

    ... too. However we would very much appreciate it if you would post on the blog itself so we can enjoy our permanent record. I say "we" by the way because John keeps me straight on my facts, helps edit, and is a major help in what pictures we do or do not post.     We decided to head home tonight and finish the trip. It's been an amazing few weeks. I've never felt like I've seen so much and been so exhausted from a trip. This will be a trip I remember forever. I've wanted to do a proper road trip since I was a child and it feels good to have finally done it.     I made the quick journey to Murfreesboro in about 30 mins and it's was open on a lovely morning, with temperature expected to hit 78 deg. The USA is till in fahrenheit.

    The actual battle occurred just on the edge of the town and the backdrop was Stones River.

    The location is just south of Nashville on the main Atlanta to Ohio railroad and highway.
