    ... wish to go to the Kentucky Derby someday wearing a big hat. Until then, this will do. We didn't want to stay long or do any tours so we went to the gift shop for post cards. Did I mention that the kids write themselves postcards in every state and send them postmarked from that state? Pretty neat getting home to a bunch of postcards to themselves.

    ... pinhead-as it is another whole entity to itself. We grilled out that evening and just beat a storm that rolled in. The next morning we woke to rain and it continued all day. Gave Elena a chance to start working on her quilt. She did so well and after a few blocks had gained the confidence she needed to use the sewing machine.
