        Still on our way to Nashvegas!!! Made some pit stops along the way in Ohio for gas and restrooms!! We saw the Cinncinatti Reds and Cinncinati Bengals stadiums along the way!! Stopped in Northern Kentucky for some lunch at Firehouse Subs!!!! Got back on the highway heading south towards Nashville and saw signs for the Jim Beam distillery so of course we had to go!!         ... American fusion restaurant. We had yummy lamb sliders and a brandy flamed cheese dish called Flaming Cheese Saganaki which was quite spectacular as our server brought a sizzling dish to the table and promptly set fire to it! We figured it would be best to let the flames die down before tasting it and It was also yummy!

        Our next winery, not far up the road, was called Penguin Bay winery and it was overlooking Seneca Lake and had the cutest labels and some very nice ...

        We departed Ohio today and headed for the 10th state on our summer vacation road trip: The Bluegrass state of Kentucky.

        Before leaving Cincinnati we had breakfast at an interesting restaurant called Sugar n' Spce which had a kid-fun theme as you can see in my pictures. Along with cartoon characters painted on the wall were rows of small rubber ducks. Not sure of the story behind these other then the waiter says the owner collects them and shares one with each guest, ...

        ... wish to go to the Kentucky Derby someday wearing a big hat. Until then, this will do. We didn't want to stay long or do any tours so we went to the gift shop for post cards. Did I mention that the kids write themselves postcards in every state and send them postmarked from that state? Pretty neat getting home to a bunch of postcards to themselves.
