    ... it was a nice, quick stop bringing our total National Park Sites visited together to 92 (our first was in April 2009)! From there, we drove to Canton, MS for yet another Hampton Inn.     ... pick it up Tuesday and ten drive northwest to Colorado. We will weave our way through the state, northward to Wyoming. Being native Mississippians, and it being mid July, we are looking to go to the cooler elevations... for two weeks.

    ... which we popped into the car CD player and began the driving tour beginning with the Union lines and ending with the Confederate lines. Along the way we stopped at many stops, such as memorials, redoubts, etc. The most interesting stop was the ironclad Cairo which was recovered back in the 1960s.
