    ... and started hiking up the red-blazed Asbury Trail. Initially, it passes a lake, though it was completely dry. The trail then heads upstream along Matthews Creek. It was clear that not a lot of other people had hiked this trail recently as the spider webs across the trail were awful. Clearing them with hiking poles was only marginally effective.     ... complete stop and put the car in first gear to get up the hills. After two miles, I parked right before Shunkawauken Falls. This roadside waterfall is quite high; surprising, considering how high on the mountain it is. I got a couple of pictures of the waterfall and of the views over Columbus far below the mountain.     ... was Bacon-Infused Vodka, which he said they use in their Bloody Marys. I was wishing I hadn't just finished that very tall Pimm's, as I would have LOVED to enjoy one of those - and I've been thinking about it, ever since!

    Anyhow - it was a beautiful, relaxing, enjoyable day!
