    ... small BBQ restaurant in Cashiers, a town not far from Brevard. This is the most typical southern style pit BBQ place we have managed to find, and the food and atmosphere didn't disappoint.

    ... tried to find somewhere for dinner. We had to make a few calls but were able to find a really lovely restaurant in town. The food was delicious, and we were both excited to see steamed vegetables on our plate, something we had missed with the recent emphasis on typical southern cuisine!     Aunt Jane had a great breakfast waiting for us when we woke up this morning. Caden of course finished first so she took him out to feed the birds from the dock. They have a great back yard that fills up with water at high tide and empties out at low tide. Caden loved exploring this interesting area which is nothing like we have near our home.     ... was Bacon-Infused Vodka, which he said they use in their Bloody Marys. I was wishing I hadn't just finished that very tall Pimm's, as I would have LOVED to enjoy one of those - and I've been thinking about it, ever since!

    Anyhow - it was a beautiful, relaxing, enjoyable day!
