We are home!

We arrived home at 7:30 PM Thursday night. It was a another long day of driving--580 miles, and about 10 hours on the road. As we like to say, "It was a boring trip!" This means it was uneventful and no problems were encountered. :)

For a winter trip, this trip was excellent. We had no snow and the temperatures were great! We are glad to be home, and we thank all of you for your prayers for a safe trip.

... fruit/veg stands on the side of the road). Patrick cooked an amazing italian dinner and Adam, Landon, PB and I sat around, drank good wine, talked, and ate our way into the new year. We all agreed that there was no better way to spend the usually unimpressive and way overpriced holiday. We had a blast! (not to mention we were both really happy to celebrate a holiday with awesome friends)

... after talking to our families on Christmas morning we were both excited for some holiday spirit.

We returned the rental car and knew it was time to start the hunt... for PBs new truck. With very little left in our budget we both knew we had arrived at the right time of year to buy a car... Negotiations ensued for the next few days...

Usaually I wouldn't have my departure city as its own entry, but my time in Charlotte warrented one. After an easy 1 hour flight from JC, I landed in Charlotte expecting a 3 hour layover.
