... to Fort Sumter where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. We then visited the maritime Museum which displayed the USS Yorktown, aircraft carrier, USS Laffey, destroyer – the ship that wouldn’t sink (survived many Kamakazi attacks) and a Vietnam War Memorial. Left there at 6.30pm and back to Camp Wally. Very tired after a long, hot but good day.

... t know. Soon enough, it was time to fill up the car with petrol. Selected a Shell on the outskirts of Charlottesville, and immediately noticed a big drop in price. Now only $2.14 a gallon for ULP. Further north we have been paying around $2.60+ per gallon. Later on, when we arrived at Ridgeway, the price is still only $2.27.
