... cloudy but luckily today it heated up enough for a swim in Barton Springs. One of the go to places for Craig and Rae on a hot day. The water was refreshingly cool and this time I did go for a swim and really enjoyed the coolness and lapped up the atmosphere of an area seemingly near the outskirts of town but close enough to have the high rises in the background. The funny thing is that if you asked any of these moms any other time of the year if they would happily and willingly hand their newborn over to a complete stranger dressed in a costume, Hell would freeze over before they'd even consider it. ... out from under the bridge. It was a constant flow for about 20 minutes as we watched the sky turn black. They were quite small but I just couldnt believe how many bats could store away under this bridge!

We returned to the hostel to relax for a bit before heading out to the festival. And check this out - a girl in our hostel room had tickets to Flo rrida and was just giving them away. FLO RIDA! We eagerly headed back into town after a few hours to see the nightlife. ...
