    ... old structure. I got some groceries and took a stroll back to camp while drinking a sweet tea. No one ever came to collect money or talk to me. I scarfed down some food and relaxed by the lake all afternoon. For all the people who said Kansas was flat, you should probably bike or walk through it before you keep telling people that. The horizon looks flat, but the highways follow the natural hills. The roads don't cut into the hills here like they do in Colorado or Utah.... ...

    Ugh. Boring! David left very early and flew to Orlando for a conference. The kids and I packed up and set off across Kansas.     ... in McPherson, KS. And we took pictures of their amazing pies, rather than having a slice. I have a new understanding of "amber waves of grain" as all we have seen for miles and miles are wheat fields! And did I mention Kansas is flat! We arrived safely at the RV park around 6:30.     Left Denver at around 9.15. We drove all morning, reaching Colby, Kansas in time for a relaxed lunch. Afterwards, whilst hanging about outside the vans we were interviewed by a group who purported to be from Japanese TV, 'chasing' a Japanese chaser..may just have been for YouTube but what the heck, we indulged them and gave ETT some free advertising.     ... Goodman so we gained an hour instantly. It was after 4pm our time but it was 3pm their time. After getting those books we headed to Selden, KS to look at the bindery equipment. We spent about 3 hours with the banker who took control of the property. There are tons of machines but they are all heavy so they couldn't come back with us even if we wanted them.
