Driving up through Georgia Alex was keen to find a plaque marking Sherman's controversial, brutal and finalising march during america's civil war which he wrote his dissertation. This was the beautiful place that Jake & Whitney picked to have their wedding at. It was such an honor to be a part of and welcome Whitney officially into the Thompson family.
This morning we went to church with Karen and Bill at "The Big White Church" - Bethlehem First Methodist in Bethlehem. Karen had told us that Parker is leaving in June, so this was the last time for us to hear him preach.

... 3 rooms - living room, bedroom/dining room, and a tiny kitchen. But they lived there for 10 years and it was where most of Gone with the Wind had been written.
Tomorrow we are going to church twice at Bethlehem Methodist with Karen and Bill - one to the Contemporary service and then a little later to the traditional service. Will be interesting.
