      ... on the water. The sails of the opera house are the focal point. Scenes are projected onto the sails and it's a nightly occurrence for 2 weeks. I don't have an easy way when I don't have wifi to transfer photos from my phone to the iPad because bluetoothing doesn't work. So photos of these things would bring some context. I could type this thing on the phone and add them directly from the source but I ain't gonna so someone is gonna have to show Granny S all this ...

      ... feels like -11 so I had 4 layers on both top and bottom so sweltered through breakfast, Rodd on the other hand was wearing a T-Shirt so was perfectly comfortable in the breakfast room!

      So tummies full back to the room to gather cameras and Rodd added some layers and we head out to see the Arch. Now you see how close it is to our hotel so it should be fairly easy to walk to however ...

      ... can try out and it wasn't too bad if it was just the 2 of us, but they can actually squeeze 5 people into a teeny space maybe about 5 foot square. It was touch and go for a while, but I decided to try it, and it was just the 2 of us. Thankfully it only took 1 game of Candy get to the top. The view is magnificent and I'm really glad I was able to do it.

      Ever since I read the David McCullough biography of Harry Truman I have loved the man, so to be in his presence today was a very special time for me. Denny and I literally walked in his shoes: On the streets where he walked. Through the building he designed. In the drug store where he worked.

      ... using an honour jar - it's $14 for a bottle of wine (that's cheap for the US) and $2 or $3 for shots or bottles of beer. Mixers are on the house. Oh my ... what damage we could do? ... but we were good, and we didn't!
