The bus ride from Florianopolis to Curitiba took just under 3 hours, Barbara and I slept nearly all the way as we have picked up quite severe colds.

We woke up at our hotel in Porto Alegre at the awful hour of 3.30am. A bus to the airport and then a 50 minute flight later and by 7am we were out the front of the airport waiting for our coaches in the city of Curitiba.
