So today we left LA and headed north to Bakersfield - random place I know but it is purely just a stop over as we are heading to Monterey tomorrow.
First things first we have to pick up our first rental car - while we are out here we will be having 3 cars in total but changing over on the way. ... locked in sexual bliss, while flying up, down forwards and backwards only a few feet away. It happened within about 10 seconds while my (and Dolly's) cameras were out of reach. Damn! The shot of a lifetime right before our eyes and we missed it.

... the Mojave Desert as we head toward Bakersfield. Looking at the weather forecast for the rest of the way home, we know we need to get a move on tomorrow to stay out of snow around Mt. Shasta and Grants Pass. Rather than try to push our way through the dark for hours and hours all night we decide to stop in Rosedale, a little suburb of Bakersfield, because once again we see the "RV Park" sign along the road.
... back to camp with the older girls this time, who provided laughs rather than stress, we then went to this hut which sold slushies. Once me and Ashleigh got home we were provided with a pizza for tea before heading off to this ice cream place called Rosemary's on the opposite side of town. The sizes were massive with a petite ice cream which I picked making up two scoops with whipped cream on top. We then headed straight back home and got ready for ...
