... apartment." I've told her that it's really just a room -- a medium-sized bedroom and a small bathroom. She finally understands. But I think she likes it. She said it looks "homey" and "lived-in." Hopefully that's not code for "messy." It's not messy.

She's currently taking a shower in my open-shower bathroom. We'll see what she says about having to mop/wipe up all the water that pools on the floor, sink, toilet, and washing machine.
