If you don't mind lady bug infestation
The room is very clean. The bed is very bouncy. there was a lady bug (the flying type) problem in the bathroom, which is TINY. The hot tub next to the bed is nice but definately not a GREAT hot tub. We had a room on the other side of the main hotel, which has a pool, but was CLOSED. We had to freeze our butts off to get to the other pool which was at best, a C minus. The TV? What a joke! Very small maybe 13 inches and a pretty bad picture too! For the price though, there is probably better, but this place ain't too bad in the winter months. On the positive side, the crew were very friendly and nice. Not a "terrible place" to stay, but I have stayed (for the same price) in much better places.
We were refused the room we reserved. We didn?t find out they switched us until we opened the door with the key they gave us. They knew all along but didn?t say ANYTHING! When we confronted the manager, Michelle Wright, she absolutely refused any discount off the room she chose for us. She then told us we had 15 minutes to leave if we didn?t want the room. She was absolutely the rudest manager I have ever encountered. This manager does not understand the lifetime value of a customer. It is unfortunate. All attempts to reach the owner, Drew Purta, thus far have been unsuccessful.
Very Nice Clean and Friendly Motel
We stayed at the motel on December 29t and 30th, 2003. We were greeted very nicely. The young man on desk duty was exceptionally friendly and polite. He answered all of questions, and made us feel very welcome.
The room was very nice, neat and clean. (We had one problem, with the heater in the room, which after we told the desk clerk the problem, he was very efficient and had it fixed in 5 minutes. Both the desk clerks that we talked with, the two days we stayed were very helpful. They suggested places to go and eat, and also things that were still open, at that time of the year. Even the cleaning staff on duty when we were there, were friendly and helpful. We recommend this motel, and will stay there again, when in the area. (Two very satisfied customers)
Nicest people & cleanest hotel ever!!!
These people dont miss a thing. Freindly front desk saved me alot of $ on dinning.Cleaner rooms than my home.Excelent value, quaint hotel, beautiful views from my room. The pool area was clean, didnt smell chlorine, quiet and peaceful very relaxing. There moto is " where our family takes care of yours" It is so true!!!
I love this place
I love this place. I come every year just to get away on the off season. The prices are cheap and the staff is laid back. Good relaxing stay.
Lots of Fun at a good price
For the price I had a wonderful get away for the weekend. Highly recomended.
The owners of skyline had their people help me when my car failed.
Saving me a tow and expensive bill for repairs. The maintenance guy said that only two cars have been towed out of their parking lot in 5 yrs. He said they take care of their guests. I believe them. Thanks for saving my vacation
My family and I have never experienced such a blatant racist interaction in the hospitality industry. The hotel by far has a very poor, unclean, unkept atmosphere and very unprofessional, rude management and staff. I would never allow anyone that I know to be subjected to the Skyline Hotel. If you are going there in connection with Fairfield Time Share or any other time share division, beware of the discrimination and resentment you will experience because of your free stay. Fairfield wants you to spend $40,000 with them but continue to neglect their responsibility to insure that potential buyers are not treated this way.
The staff was wonderful and most helpful. The rooms were a nice size and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definetly stay there again.
The manager of this hotel treated us very poorly. We stayed previously and were happy with the rooms, not so happy with the manager, but decided to try again. Had to cancel and the manager left a snide remark on our machine - including profanity. Informed the owner, he did nothing. Would never stay there again.

... a little bit about the history of Wisconsin Dells and about the history of the people who have or had homes on Lake Delton.
After our fun filled and action packed day, we went back to the room, showered and cleaned up, and went out to dinner. We then came back to the room and watched Big Brother before heading to sleep.
We are off to Madison tomorrow to see Pamela and to be there for the July 4th weekend!
Thanks for reading as always,

... a bit of driving we decided to take a break and stretch. We stopped at a Dairy Queen where the family got a Blizzard to share, a Peanut Buster for Mom and an Arctic Rush to share. The service was very slow but Mom said it was the best and most peanut-laden Peanut Buster she had ever had and was well worth the wait.
We drove past huge farms, more huge farms, then even more huge farms. Some of them even decided to do ...
... The Black Anaconda (water coaster) had broken down a bit before the family got there so that remains on the "next round" list if we ever come back. The humans reported taking in a number of water rides before getting some munchies. They took in the 4D Dive In experience then headed back to the rides. Sarah and Dad's favorite was The Scorpion. Paul's favorite was the The Big Kahuna (the wave pool) and Mom's favorite was The Stingray.
June 25th – Day 52
Travel day today. We didn't get away

The first lock and dam I saw was near the town of Alma. Eventually I had to head east from the river near
