... to be able to see a grade 6 rapid. The water rushes down and the waves are quite high - at times 15 m above the river floor.

Watched a gondola go across the river at the whirlpool - the river does an almost 90 degree bend.You can see the water swirling and changing direction before crossing its own path to leave the whirlpool.

Continued along the river to Niagara on the Lake. We drove past lots of large homes and vineyards. In the small area there are over 30 ...

... the girl realised we were there. Anyway, she was nice, we ordered and nobody else was left to eat, they had all eaten from what we could see. It was around 8.15pm and our food FINALLY came at 9.15pm!!! We should've definitely complained but we couldn't be bothered! It was nice food and the waitress was on her own and worked super hard! Left Crystal Meth on the sofa looking in a state, she didn't get a taxi last night ended up falling asleep on the pavement, a friend of her brother noticed her and drove her home... She got TURNED UP. Didn't remember any of it the next morning completely Swiss Cheesed. Drove across Michigan to Detroit. ... street on the map... no wonder I had not spotted it... we are about 5K from the pub and the opposite direction from the hotel...
Tom has been reprogrammed while in my pocket and directing us to a random address....

... crowd. Dave and I were waiting for a shuttle once in Germany when a Chinese tour bus showed up. Though we were first in line, we were the last ones on. Little old ladies have sharp elbows! We were just standing there, and this swarm of noise and energy enveloped us and pushed us to the back of the mob. In Toronto a line was forming. I was suspicious and strategically placed my carry-on bags to protect my ribs.
