Of course, catching up with the many wonderful family and friends who live in this part of the world was the ultimate highlight. As always, our time was far too short; I personally could have played with my Canadian friends and their toys for weeks! ... haha. Lunch was at Lungos-a type of supermarket/food court. It's amazing, some of these supermarket ideas would be fantastic in Brisbane, Rick ordered a wood fire pizza, me a turkey & artichoke panini-you can order it, go do your shopping & then pick it up, go pay for it with all your shopping! It was kinda like a big Dean & Deluca but not as expensive..that prob means nothing to you-sorry! Time now to drive to Buffalo for ...
Toronto indeed is the biggest city in Canada, but contrary to the popular belief, it's not the capital :-) I found the city quite OK, but it lacks some specific atmosphere... Just not a city I would like to live in. But it has its nice sides of course.
